This is the last day of a short week on account of Thanksgiving, while there will be no official school celebration this year, us at Podium hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. As most already are aware, the New York City Department Of Education has determined that schools shall stay all remote for the foreseeable future. I have conducted an Interview to see what people think, but the interviewee requested to be anonymous. “I don’t like the change, but I think it is for the better.” said the interviewee, a formerly blended learning student.

This was Podium Current News, thank you for reading and goodbye.

President Trump hasn’t conceded the presidential election.

Trump still denies defeat to President-Elect Biden

Unable to concede (admit defeat) to Biden winning, The Trump campaign makes it their mission to try to delay and complicate the transition of office, The Trump campaign will not grant access to necessary, key information to the Biden campaign, they (Trump campaign) literally will not let them (Biden campaign) in the door. However, President-Elect Biden Calls Trump's unwillingness to concede (admit defeat) an “embarrassment” but said it won’t delay his white house transition.

Biden hopes Republicans will come to their senses

President-Elect Biden, appearing with Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris, expressed confidence that the Trump campaign will eventually concede to his win, and work with his administration (Political Party). He also said his transition team already was fleshing out details of a health-care plan, which he hoped to work on with Congress right after he takes office.

Hi everyone. Today we are going to talk about the fastly spreading virus that has put most places in lockdown, Covid-19 or the Coronavirus. So many Coronavirus jokes are out there, it's a pundemic. I'm sorry that was really cheesy, but all jokes aside, let's start talking about Covid-19. The first confirmed case of Covid-19 in the U.S was January 20th 2020. That was a while ago, over 309 days! For reference a year has 365 days in it. On April 14th schools close because of the rising cases of Coronavirus. It was nearing 65,000 cases in New York itself. So the school closed and we finished the year online. So, the million dollar question. What can you do to stop the spread of covid-19? You should social distance, preferably six feet apart to ten feet apart. Wash your hands thoroughly for 20-25 seconds and scrub well with soap, and you should wear a mask at all times. Once you do all three of these on a daily basis, then there is a lower chance that you will get Coronavirus, and spread it if you are asymptomatic (No symptoms).  Also do not touch the outside of your mask, goggles (if you use them), or gloves with bare hands without hand-washing. If you do feel symptoms such as Cough, Fever, Trouble Breathing, Headache, Loss of taste/smell, or Fatigue. Please visit a doctor immediately so you can get tested for Coronavirus. Vaccine makers such as Moderna, AstraZeneca, and BioNTech are 95% through making the vaccine.  It usually takes 10-15 years to perfect a vaccine, but they have rushed this one so life can go back to normal! So what did we learn here? Coronavirus is not good, that's what we learned. Wear a mask and social distance. That's all, on to the next section.

  1. Start by sitting quietly in a comfortable position.

  2. Close your eyes.

  3. Slowly relax all the muscles in your body beginning with your toes, working your way up the rest of your body to the muscles in your neck and head.

  4. After you’ve relaxed all the muscles in your body, imagine yourself in a peaceful and relaxing place (for example, lying on a beach). Whatever place you choose, think of yourself completely relaxed and without a care in the world.

  5. Imagine yourself in this place as clearly as possible.

  6. Practice this exercise as often as possible, at least once a  day for about ten minutes each time.
